Arachne is the ultimate Internet client, which is easy to configure and use.
It integrates Web browser, FTP client, e-mail reader and e-mail composer
with full-featured graphical desktop for your DOS workstation.
Arachne allows you to view complex HTML/4.0 pages with frames, GIF, JPEG
or PNG images and links to audio or video files, which can be located
on the Internet, embeded in mail messages (like this one) or stored on
floppy disks, CD-ROMs or on your hard disk. You no longer have to leave
your fast and simple DOS and boot some other operating system to do this.

Now you can convieniently send, receive or print documents with single mouse
clicks - no doubleclicks are required. You can exit to DOS immediately
(without losing connection) by just hitting <Esc> (or Alt+E),
and then return back exactly where you were by typing 'exit' at the
DOS command prompt.
You can easily access all Arachne components and all other resources of your
system from the Arachne desktop. Arachne is extremely easy to extend - you
can install new Arachne Packages (APMs) by just clicking on them.
